First of all, WHAT IS THE DUNGEON?
If you want to read more about the Dungeon, please read more here.

Everything is very secretive, but what I can tell you is that the Dungeon is a secret, special forum that is by invitation only. It is a place where there is something for everybody.

How do you get an invite?
Each week 8-10 people are let into the Dungeon. The people who are let in are chosen by the mods, as well as given the opportunity to win their way in.

How do you get noticed?
* Be an active, helpful and contributing member to getDare. You can do this by posting creative blogs and threads, chatting in chat, reporting rule breaking, or generally being friendly and helpful.

Other ways to get invited
* Some of the mods will be playing games to allow entry into the Dungeon. All you need to do is win one of those games for a guaranteed invite. However, even if you don't win, participating is a great way to get noticed.

Make Red laugh
Nominate a getDare Good Samaritan
Happy Me's Draw a Picture
Lola's Guessing Game
Get to know your Dungeon Guards

* Enter the Dare of the Month or Writing of the Month competitions. Winners will get a guaranteed entrance, and all participants will be noticed for their participation.
* Run for getDare Queen or King or participate in the election festivities.
* Finally post in this thread.

If you want to be invited into the Dungeon, please post here. Tell us why you want to join, and why you think you deserve to join. We will use the names in this list to help us invite people.

Hmmmmmm. I just thought of another way that entry should be granted to the dungeon. Have a thread for possible punishments for the dungeon dwellers and secretly grant access to those with the best ideas. Include their idea as a new thread in the dungeon if you can. This way there would be new and exciting punishments for the unfortunate few who get sent to the dungeon

Hi I am KittenLicks!

I want to get into the dungeon because the last time I was in was when it first opened back in 2014 and I am really curious as to what's in it now. You know that saying about curiosity and cats? It's totally true! I may (eventually) die if my curiosity is not sated! Act now to save a kitten!

Why do I deserve to get into the dungeon? Well, about 80% of everything I say is just random mewling, but the remaining 20% can sometimes be clever or helpful or funny. Plus, I can provide kitten licks for anyone in the dungeon that needs them. If there is currently a shortage of felines licking people, you should definitely invite me, because I can clear that problem right up.

I just want to bump this thread, because why wouldn't people want to be in the Dungeon, even at least one time?

I was around when the Dungeon was first introduced in 2014, and if I might add, mod edit: do not share dungeon secretsand you all WANT to get entry, believe me.

I'm the wet and messy puppy known here as WAMPup. I have not been around for very long officially. (I lurked without an account for 3-5 years.) But the dungeon has always been something that I've been curious about. I know I probably won't be going inside anytime in the near future, but I hope that me expressing interest here and now at least gets my name on your radar. Perhaps in time I will even be creating well thought out dares and helping newbies and will earn my way in. (I do have a few thread ideas tucked away in the back of my mind just waiting for a good break in my schedule and some more creative energy.) Maybe I'll even get around to getting myself an avatar picture. Right now I'm still exploring the things that are new since I have an account and settling in.

I got invited during a very bad time and therefore wasted my week. I only looked into the dungeon for a few minutes.

I don't want to look like Im begging/making excuses or anything to get in. I would just like to know if it's possible to be invited multiple time.
