I said I cannot stand still on my feet for long. The heels basically force me to walk or stand on my toes if I'm standing at all: the leather part that goes over the top of my foot essentially starts around my ankles and ends just short of my toes, forcing my feet to remain at an angle. I tend to move about more than stand in one place, which makes balancing a lot easier, as I can shift my weight around as needed. I've even tried just standing in the corner wearing the heels a while back. But in the end, they're made from very rigid leather, and I simply can't put my feet down normally, and trying to lower my soles just makes the leather dig further into my skin. Easy when you can take your weight of, not so if I have to keep standing still.

Alas, walking is okay.
