Sometimes in order to develop the story or characters, there is a need to sacrifice the action to some extent, sometimes entirely. But to be fair I personally think you have a nice balance between action and development, I do still want to know what's behind door number 1 and if my suspicions are right, but at the same time hate spoilers and want the story to unfold to its natural reveal. I think you are doing a brilliant job and look forward to all 3 character development.
