Granted, the hours of the day spiral endlessly into an infinite continuum of daytime, where you never feel tired, but never quite awake. You dream of an end to this, and cling hopelessly to your fading memory of the sweet bliss that sleep once was.

Granted. All is fine for the first three days - people are polite to each other, and say nice things. On the 4th day, Twitter declares bankruptcy. A week later, the State of the Union address in front of the US senate is mostly silence. The British parliament find themselves unable to debate Brexit. In a month, cracks start showing - unable to express themselves, the pent up rage and anger drives people crazy. Divorce rates, domestic violence and murder rates soar and the world is at the edge of politely worded nuclear war. And that's how the purges began...

But as renovations always end up more costly and time consuming as planned, you find yourself waking up in 13 years time, in a beautiful house, but with 100.000 dollars in debt, with gray hair and wrinkles that are caused by the stress and aging of that 13 year long period that you seem to have sort of missed.

Granted, pets are now very eloquent speakers, more so than humans themselves. Unfortunately this leads to unionisation, and the consequent "Pet's Union" government overthrow of 2020. Mostly we're very happy with our new rulers, though compulsory neutering now inhibits the growth of our species. Oh, and cat's are just like, dicks all day long, they talk smack about us all the time. It's very tiring.

Granted. Unfortunately, none of the band mates can play any instrument, although they all think they are brilliant. They are a bunch of drug addicted louts who can't sing either and they are all tone-deaf. So, of course your band becomes the world's #1 punk metal band, but you can't handle the success and are committed to a mental institution for life after biting off the noses of your band mates in a drug and alcohol fueled rage.
