AMA Section

I noticed that there are a lot of AMA threads in the Request TORD section. I can understand why, but I think it might be easier to have a designated AMA thread sub-section to help sort out the clutter.

Sounds like a great idea to me as well. When the AMA trend started years ago we left it to TorD Online because it seemed logical that people could ask Truths there and not only for dares in that forum. But we also never thought that it would still be around years after and that everyone would have one of those lol

Since I have been here there have been many sub-forums created so I can only imagine it can't be that hard to do. The part that would be more work would be to move the currently active threads in that forum. But guess who happens to enjoy doing that kind of tedious suff

So just to let Rachie (or any other admin who would happen to log in and see the thread): If there were to be an AMA sub-forum I wouldn't mind doing the sorting/moving threads part

Even though the idea seems to be a good one, I don't think that a sub-forum dedicated to AMA threads is necessary. I've counted the amount of AMA threads and found only 15 AMA threads in the last 200 posts (currently). Personally, I don't find these relatively few threads, of which only one or two are on the first page, to be that annoying for them to be relocated in a wholly new sub-forum.

Furthermore, the forum section is called ...

Request TORD Online: Make requests and play Truth or Dare here on the site!

As it stated; Truth or Dare (TORD). So why filter out all the asking-for-truth threads if this forum section is meant for asking both truths and dares?

Lastly, where will be the border of which threads to post in the AMA sub-forum and which not to post there? Should only the AMA threads be posted there? Should the normal threads asking for truths be posted there as well? And what about the threads asking both for truths and dares?

I believe that is the plan to move them all there.

As far as counting towards post total, I would assume so. They are still on the board, but just being moved to a new section. Another reason I think it will count towards your current total is because I'm an administrator on a football message board and whenever we start new forums or move posts around it still counts in the totals.

I posted a stickie already and will go through TorD a bit later today to move all currently active threads.

I have moved all the recent threads from the first 100 pages of TorD Online. Or so I think but it's entirely possible I may have missed one (or two...) Anyways, if anyone has a thread that has not been moved, either recent or an older one that they would prefer keeping open instead of starting a new one please just either PM me the link or report it so that a staff member can move it to the new section
