The modifier for the week is placed next to the player's name. When the poll has closed it will be added to or subtracted from the votes cast to determine the final result. See main thread.

I'd have appreciated if you'd raised this in main thread where I explained the broad basis of this. Is part innate,part formulaic, part random., latter to reflect the luck of the dice. The modifier for each person vary weekly in accordance.

It didn't actually relate directly to the story which is why I posted here instead of there.

On a personal level, if there are two threads, I'd rather the story be pure and the conversation here, but, I'm used to having a different opinion to most people, so no doubt, few will agree with me.


I've tried writing and struggled to get 3 chapters before scrapping, so I am hoping you stay the course, as this is the type of story that can hold my interest, but, I do want to say well done on what you have managed so far, I'm posting that here as it would feel like trying to increase my post count if I spilt into 2 posts what I could say in one.

Ah. I see. Thanks for explaining.

This is part of my mindset and is why on the main thread I've used the different typefaces so that bold face is for the my updates to the story itself, to keep it 'pure', and ordinary for comments and explanations and mechanics, as it were. I shall be putting up one or more of both sorts in the next day or so, so you will see where I'm coming from.
