I strongly agree. In addition the Daddy should probably not be punished for her not being able to do her edges (for whatever - even very valid - reason). But un second read you probably already included that in your sentence as well.

I'd have voted for: 9 additional days of denial (so that it's just over when you meet) plus doing the edges afterwards. Since that's not an option, I chose just doing them afterwards (since you'll probably deny her nevertheless until you meet).
