Sister's Sleepover - The Competition

Hi all,

Well, as promised you haven't seen the last of me. I will be busy completing 'The Sub Plot' over the next few weeks, however in the meantime I wanted to give you something to keep you busy.

You may remember that last year I ran a competition during 'The Sequel', in which I asked a few questions and the lucky winner, Demon Thief, won a virtual 'walk on' part in the story (as Carlos, the mysterious stranger in the woods) along with choosing a dare for a character and a preview of the chapter before it was published.

This proved highly successful, so I have decided to run another competition this year...

Sister's Sleepover - The Competition Rules

This years competition will hopefully get your creative juices flowing.

I would like you to take a photograph of something from the story - either the original 'Sister's Sleepover T or D', 'The Sequel' or 'The Sub Plot'. The photograph needs to be a either a prop or scene from the story, however no photos with people in them!

Be as creative and imaginative as you like, and if you're searching for inspiration you may try reading a random part of the story again.

To enter, email the photograph to me at [email protected] - please do not post them here as I will set up a thread with the entries on to allow the community to vote on the winning photograph.

Rules:
1. The photograph must be original and your own work. Photographs copied from the internet will be disqualified if identified.
2. The photograph should not have any person/s in it, however non-explicit body parts (such as hands cuffed behind a back) will be allowed.
3. A selection of the best photographs will be published on this forum, and the winner will be selected on a vote basis.
4. The winning photograph may be used as cover art on a PDF version of the book should this be completed, and as such entrants consent to allowing this without further remuneration.
5. The deadline for the receipt of photographs is 30 April 2011.
6. There is a limit of ONE entry per getdare user.
7. The competition is open to members of GetDare only - please remember to submit your username when submitting photographs.

The Prize:
As before, the main prize will be a virtual walk on part in the upcoming story, "Sister's Sleepover - The Trilogy Concludes", which will begin later this year. In addition to this, I shall liase with the winner and offer them some choices that there character will do in the story. Finally, the winner will also receive a preview of the chapter/s that they appear in.
