Entering the taboo
I wasn't sure if this went here or the truth section. I believe here since it is about the stories here.
Readers: What is the most taboo thing you read? Any taboo's that you won't read? Do you prefer taboo scenes toned down? Why? Writers: What is the most taboo thing you wrote on here? Is there any taboo that you won't write? Do you try to tone down any taboo scenes? Why?

Both writer and reader :)
Readers:
What is the most taboo thing you read? I don't remember all the topics of stories I have read so far, but one I can remember was about a person getting killed by someone after long time of torture from a self-bondage contraption the someone made. Any taboo's that you won't read? I can't say for sure until I have read something about a taboo topic. Only thing I can think of is killing organisms that don't want any involvement (in subconsciousness). Do you prefer taboo scenes toned down? Why? No. Details are important and the story is great if it leaves something to think about, even though the taboo may be a very extreme kind of taboo. Writers: What is the most taboo thing you wrote on here? Probably a girl who gets raped without consent. Fiction, of course. Is there any taboo that you won't write? I write anything. Though, the emotions and details that come with the taboo you write about may be hard to describe. Because in most of the cases, I have never done the particular (extreme) taboo. So how do I know for sure that what I'm writing could be correct? Do you try to tone down any taboo scenes? Why? No. If people don't like the scenes, then just don't read it. That's why I sometimes put a warning above the stories I write. Only in the case of extreme scenes in the story.
