August 2018 Writing Competition

Welcome to our Writing of the Month Competition for August. Follow the theme below and post your submission here in this thread. After the deadline, we will create a poll and vote on the winner. The winner will receive entry into the Dungeon.

Theme: Collaborations/Team Work

What to write:
Write a blog or piece of creative writing with a partner. This can be an educational piece, a story, a duel report, or piece of creative writing. But it must be written by two or more getDare members and posted to the correct area (blog, story, etc.). The topic does NOT need to be kink related.

Guidelines:

• Post your entry in the blog or story section of getDare
• Post a link to your entry in this thread to officially enter.
• Be creative! People are going to vote for whichever is best, and entertaining and creative ideas will most likely get the most votes.
• Entries must be over 300 words to qualify (exception to this would be a poem which needs to be 10 lines min).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only one entry per pair/group should be submitted. Google docs works great for writing together, or you can use pm to send each other your parts and then merge together and post.

Deadline: August 31, 2018

I replied back. The only other person I can think of to write with seems to be busy enough, and I don't want to add a headache to that on account of me

It's nice to write with a friend though I guess we just need to figure out what topic(s) will go well together.

Absolutely!

What I meant with my statement is that the point of the entry for this month was for each pair or group to work on one piece of writing together. Not write two seperate blogs and submit separately.

You are more than welcome to collaborate with multiple people and submit multiple entries.

Yes, I was going to keep it 'hush-hush' but I think a little "ad" would probably catch more attention.

I am looking for a partner of any gender, with open sexual preference. The goal is to write an on the spot interaction (roleplaying) of two characters based on ourselves and see where it goes.

That is a great idea! I hope you can find somebody. You may also wish to pop into chat and ask there, or maybe send a pm to some of your favorite/active writers here on getDare. I hope you find somebody because I would love to read what you come up with.
