Bradley had done me a favour.


Before, there was no viable explanation for my diaper wearing. The "college boys did it" excuse wasn't gonna cut it a second time. But now, if James or Jack caught me wearing a diaper, I could tell them Bradley was blackmailing me. I'd make sure they didn't tell him they knew as that would probably end in me being exposed to the whole campus, but it might salvage my friendship with them if they knew I wasn't doing it by choice.


I decided to let Jack know first. I text him after classes on Tuesday.


'Can we chat in private?'


He replied within seconds. 'Yeah. I have something to say too. I'm in my dorm.'


I jogged there.


Jack opened the door and smiled. 'Hey, come in.'


The room smelled like freshly laundered clothes. Jack was big on hygiene and presentability. He shut the door behind me and sat down. 'So, what's up?'


I caught his eyes flick to my waist then back up. He was checking if I was wearing a nappy, but I wasn't. I didn't have any others after taking that one off. Oliver probably wouldn't be too pleased but I was trying not to think about that.


'You go first,' I said.


Jack nodded and took a breath. 'I think I know what you are, and I'm okay with it.'


'Huh?'


'I looked it up last night. Adult baby… or whatever. You like to dress up in diapers and stuff. It's cool. Really.'


All sorts of protests were forming on my tongue but they evaporated the second I properly looked at him. He was smiling. It was the most genuine, loving smile I'd ever seen from him.


'I get it all now. Peeing yourself. The lecture hall thing. They were plays for attention, right? You wanted us to know. Honestly I question your methods, I don't think Bradley or even James will ever get their mind around this, but I can. And uh…'


He went a little red, then. His eyes flickered around the room.


'If you want me to, you know, look after you and stuff, then I will. You took me off guard when you asked me to change you last night but I really thought about it and I'll do it. If it makes you happy, I'll do it.'


I gaped. Where the fuck had all that come from? The previous night, I truly believed Jack was on the verge of ending our friendship, and now he was sitting across from me offering to… what? Wipe my ass?


But that smile. The confidence in his assessment of the situation. And what he was willing to do to make me happy.


All of these things fell over me like a blanket and I burst into tears. Multiple days worth of fear and humiliation fell from my eyes and I curled up in the warmth of Jack's good-natured love.


He stood up, grabbed me, and pulled me into his arms. 'Hey, Dec, it's okay man. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people like weird stuff.'


He didn't understand and I could never explain it to him, but his innocent attempts to diagnose my pain and to make me feel better were like medicine. I smiled through the tears and burrowed into his arms like a lost rabbit. He played gently with my hair.


'Hey,' he said. 'I know what will make you feel better.'


I looked up at him. Our faces were inches apart. I knew what he was about to say. But should I agree? Should I ignore his flawed assessment simply because it meant he would look after me? Was that manipulative?


'How about we get a diaper on you?' He said.


His breath tickled my forehead. His eyes bored into mine with an eagerness I'd never seen. He wanted this. He truly thought he was helping me and he had convinced himself it would be good for him too. And once I thought about it, it made sense. He was always protecting me, always taking care of me. And what could be more fundamentally parental than what he was now suggesting?


Nothing. There was nothing else. And I needed it. At that moment, his love was the only thing protecting me from the fear that had dogged my every move since meeting Oliver.


I nodded. 'But I don't have any.'


He grinned. 'Used them all up, have ya?'


I blushed. But his teasing came with love.


'That's okay,' he said. 'There's a pharmacy not far. I'll go get some. You stay here and relax, OK?'


'You mean, I don't even have to go with you?'


'Nope.'


I was puzzled. 'But why? Why would you do that just for me?'


'Well,' he said, ruffling my hair. 'You're my baby now. And I gotta look after my baby. Be back in a jiff.'

Hey, sorry I think I'm gonna kill this. I just lost track of it and dunno what else to write. Someone else is welcome to pick it up if they want.

I'm working on something else rn though and will be releasing it soon. I've planned this one properly so shouldn't get stuck like Olly did. Sorry again, and thanks for everyone's support.
