Hmmm, I'm not going to say the sources you have are reliable per se, mostly because I'm not qualified to make that call. But I will say that nineteenth century Catholics are not the most... trustworthy sources.

In that case, accelerating them to superluminal speeds would require more than the amount of energy than it takes to get me out of bed on a Sunday, which is close to infinity. So unless their coffins are made of exotic matter (which, according to the supermarket definition, seems to involve pineapple as an ingredient), I don't see how they can time travel.

Unless their mass is catholic mass (with the drinking of Jesus's blood and all)...

Unless the Holy Grail is found before noon on a Wednesday, after a weekend when the majority of swallows has returned to eagle's nest, the blood would contain too much crucifix levels.
Obviously, as mentioned in many based-on-true-story novels, this would be catastrophical.

Many people, some of them very fine people, have told me that crucifix levels in blood will go away when the weather warms up a bit. All we need to do is to bring some holy light inside those coffins, or some kind of cleaning with holy water... you know, those crucifixes do a number inside those coffins... We should also all swallow tons of garlic. Most voodoo doctors that I listen to recommend garlic.

Well that certain ex president you have in mind has a few things in common with my ex wife - for one, they are both lying, cheating assholes. My ex wife doesn't live in a mansion though... her divorce lawyer was as incompetent as a certain fat, dye-drooling lawyer we all love to laugh at.
