Dom red flags

Hi everyone,
Slut here has seen some very concerning ads from doms and wants to remind their fellow submissives to be safe.

This thread is made for red flags people have seen in doms in posts or irl. Anyone can post a red flag they have found in experience theirs or another’s.
DO NOT tell someone that their red flag isn’t valid because you or someone you know does that/is in a relationship with someone who does that. Just because your experience is positive doesn’t mean others have had a positive experience.

Any dom who says they don’t care what your limits or that they want to push you to break your limits has a massive red flag. Honestly, it’d be best to cut off communication there, because if a dom can’t respect limits, they aren’t ready to be a dom. You could get really hurt

Knowing and understanding our partner is always important.

and so are boundaries. even if something is hot for you it should only be done if both think its okay to do. that goes for both dom and sub.

Ive found some myself, people that think youre their slave just because you did a task.

Not listening or simply trying to break you from the start, going too far too fast. I found a master impersonating a girl that simply went all on punishment from the start and never listened me.

Not even trying to worry for your well being, some like going extreme but when your health is at a stake you should think twice.

I'd like to add a red flag. If you make it clear that you are a certain gender and they decide they want to force you to be a different gender, and you said no, that's a big red flag. Also if someone suggests getting drunk or high as a method to go past your boundary, that's a huge red flag.

I’d like to second all of the above red flags (esp going too far too fast and thinking they own you after one task).

I’d also like to add doms who ask for lots of specific pictures before offering anything about themselves as a dom. They usually will follow that up with simple but extreme tasks with little regard for your safety in my experience.

Submitting does not mean doing just anything for just anyone. A worthwhile dom will respect boundaries and make sure you are “enjoying” the tasks. I wish I’d known sooner in my bdsm experiences that my comfort was a priority. I hope others read this thread and are better able to care for themselves. ☺️
