Plug E-stim toy advice

I would really love to try out E-stim, but I'm not really sure how or where to start. There are a lot of different units for a lot of different prices and so many accessories.

So I would appreciate your insight in what to get as a beginner in terms of accessories and E-stim units and how I can best build up E-stim play.

I don't have any experience with E-stim in any way so I really don't know which strength I can handle and what feels good so something with a wide range and large variety in uses seems best but I really don't know if something like that exist.

Thank you in advance for all help and advice <3,

Yachiru

start with a cheap tens unit and sticky pads. See what it feels like. if you like this basic tingling, maybe the next step is a 2B with remote control. I love this from day 1

Information

I second the advice for starting with a basic TENS unit and the sticky pads that come with it. It's a good way of finding out if you like the sensation or not before investing in a high end unit and accessories.

A dual channel unit will allow you to separately control the stimulation of two different accessories or circuits. There are a number of other features that different models have for varying the output patterns and control much like there are for vibrator patterns and control input.

I have an ElectraStim Flick Duo, dual channel controller. I bought it a number of years ago. Definitely not in the budget range. It's the only one I've used but I haven't felt the need to look into anything else; I know some reviews consider it under-powered. I like that it is portable and can be used for hidden public. Honestly I would have to say the "Flick" feature while sounding interesting has been more of a novelty and I've not really used it. Perhaps it doesn't suit my style of play. I've also purchased a number of the ElectraStim branded accessories.

These are the accessories I have used in my play and my comments:
  • Sticky Pads - The most versatile accessories, especially if you have a variety of shapes and sizes. They unfortunately need replacing after a number of uses. Stick them just about anywhere.
  • ElectraLoop Rubber Cock Rings - Not limited to cocks, can be used in various interesting and creative ways.
  • Silicon Vaginal/Anal Probe - Great for internal stimulation and pairs well with an external or partner unipolar connection.
  • ElectraStim Lula - Essentially electrified ben-wa balls. This has been okay for extended play with on-going G-spot stimulation, but definitely on the low end of stimulation compared with a vibrator. I would recommend only if you are a fan of ben-wa balls but results may vary.
  • ElectraPaddle - A spanking paddle with electrodes. It's okay for creating varied and unexpected sensations by alternating between holding in place and spanking, but for the most part I prefer to use a separate more solid paddle and separate electrical stimulation pads or accessories. I would not buy again.
  • Electric Clamps - I have not used these as much as I thought I would. I'm not sure why.

I hope this helps.

I have a tens 7000 that I bought on line (a to z online store) for around $40. Once you figure out the setting can very easily give hands free O's.

Is it fine to connect two nipples to the same source of electricity ? I don't know where I think I saw that it might be a problem, unless that was about people with pacemakers.

It would be something to be very careful about with the potential for current to travel through or near your heart. My TENS units has a warning not to use it above the waist at all.

If the current enters and leaves next to or on the same nipple I haven't personally had an issue (but by no means am I endorsing this as safe). But where the current runs from one nipple to the other... well I haven't done it and I wouldn't.

Exactly, you really want to avoid to send a current through or near the heart, even if you see it done in porn.

The risk is of course higher if you have heart problems already, but it is not zero without and there is always a chance to have a problem without knowing. And the current could cause the heart's rhythm to get irregular.
You want at the very least have the electricity flow away from the heart at the very least if you don't avoid the chest area completely

This is even more true while alone! at the very least have someone there that could call an ambulance and give help

Talking Update

So I wanted something not expensive but not cheap because I didn't want to deal with a faulty device. While doing research I ended up finding a sexshop with a variety of accessories and e-stim devices. They also rented bdsm furniture and even did workshops so I ended up asking if such an arrangement could be made for one of the e-stim devices. So I ended up buying the sticky pads and loaning the e-stim device for use in one of their private rooms to try it out. I really liked it so I ended up buying it.

I would like to thank everyone for their advice, both for the purchase tips as well as the safety tips.

With lots of zapping love,

Yachiru <3
