Wearing skirts/dresses on windy days?

I was just wondering if anybody else does this. The other day it was a really windy day where I live and I purposely made the decision to wear a skirt, even though I knew there would be a good chance of it getting blown up. Has anybody else purposely done this before? If so, what do you wear underneath? I just wore a thong like usual, didn't want everything to be flashed lol.

Yes, I have many times, but usually on calmer days when my skirt is not as guaranteed to be flying up.
