From my conversations with people, it is actually much narrower.

I reasonably estimate that the number is between 660-680, thanks to HumiliateM3.

If someone were to ask about how far it is from 670, they should get two possible options for the final number.

That makes for just one question and 2 guesses.

Since people are getting close and this has been a thread that I've been having fun with and hopefully the guessers have also had fun wtih, I'll be doing another round with a new number after it's been guessed.

For a bit of competiveness how about I throw in a small reward for the winner.
Whover ends up guessing the number get's to decide the range of the next round, therefore deciding how hard the next round will be.
They may even get to help with the rules next round if they want to :P
