Traditionally the bavarian Weißwurst (Weisswurst) is eaten with a technique called "zuzeln".

A Weisswurst is relatively soft but it has a tough or rubbery skin (I don't know how to describe it). So with a little bit of pressure from the teeth the Wurst (sausage) can be sucked out of its skin. Many people vilify this method because it might look like fellation.

*Keep in mind: The guy speeks bavarian dialect. This is NOT the way all germans speek, look like or eat their sausage!

That's hilarious! But from the video it didn't seem like that at all...

Not really a strange food, but cheese and cucumber sandwiches are pretty stereotypically British. And tasty.

Okay so, hang about!

We do put butter on popcorn in the UK, you just won't find it in cinemas any more. Twas a thing int north. Also black pudding is quite regional. I like it.

Haggis is amazing! As is Lancashire hotpot (which is different to Scouse and ain't no stew). Steak and kidney puddings are also fantastic. Suet pastry (pastry with extra lard) surrounding steak and kidney in gravy, steamed to heat up. Yes!

Also, gravy on fish and chips but not your Sunday roast gravy, thicker. Curry sauce on chips, not fries, and mushy peas. Pies! Cakes and buns!

Regionalism!
