I played the piano when I was a child, but none of it stuck. I can play an African style hand drum really really well though. Product of my hippie upbringing, drum circles are really fun! I don't have my own drum anymore though, because my old one didn't survive the move to Hawaii. My neighbors are probably happy about that!

Margaret Cho!!! She is awesome and I got to meet her in person and she was super nice!

The only things I like shopping for are things I can get at the thrift store. My good friend and I often make a day of it, getting lunch, then smoking a bit of pot (legal here), and then shopping for a few hours, and we always have lots of fun!

OMG yes. He sent me an amazing reply to this ad. I can almost recite his reply word for word, I read it so many times in the beginning and since then. I also remember our first IM conversation, and very clearly remember the first 2 weeks. It was all super intense!

This question makes me laugh. I have no idea which thing that would be. I was raised by hippies. my dad was VP of an amusement park so my sister and I spent all summer long every summer at an amusement park. Yes! I have two amazing cats. One I adopted in Hawaii over 10 years ago, she is a tortoiseshell, so beautiful and snarky!
The other I adopted about... 6 years ago I think. He is all black, huge, smushy, and the sweetest kitty I have ever met! He loves people and other animals, and is so so so so calm!

I am a decidedly "anti-routine" person. I really feel like time passes more slowly when things are changed up on a regular basis, so it feels like I get to live longer if I keep my mind more active. Part of how I do that is change up my daily boringness as often as I can. Sometimes Deschut gives me before bed spanks and/or edges though, that makes bedtime more fun.
