pre-writing questions

I am planning on making my own story but I want to ask a few questions before I do so I can avoid getting in trouble for something.

It will be fiction so if you answer any of my questions, just keep in mind I am not going to write anything non-fiction.

1. Do all characters need to be 18+ or is any age okay?
2. How much (if any) does the story have to be censored?
3. As a fictional story, are you allowed to use celebrities in the stories or no?

These are the only ones I can think of for now. But if there's anything esle you think I should know, feel free to tell me. I'll be starting it either tonight or tomorrow, depending on the replies i get tonight on this post.

Lets see
1. Any age is fine but for sexual i would have them 16+
2. You might want to censor some stuff but its really how you prefer
3 i dont see any reason why not

Age; general rule of thumb is that if they are going to become sexual (ie sex, blowjobs whatever) then your characters involved in this should be at least 16, and that if they are going to venture into "adult content" ie s/m then they should be at least 18. It's not a perfect rule and there isn't really any set rules on this just make sure they are old enough to not be offensive to people. (ie I was thinking of writing a prologue of how one of my characters got involved in bdsm, and while it says she started young in the story calculations mean she was about 15 so this story isn't going to happen.) Just be reasonsble and use common sense.

Censoring; this depends largely on writer preference. Some like giving very graphic descriptions while others keep it censored from it.from what I've seen anything goes, but don't quote me on that. Again just use common sense and write how you're comfortable.

Celebritie; I'd imagine that you would be ok providing that at the start of chapters you have the thing about it being entirely fictional etc

I think mainly as above, but just for fun I would like to say these things

1. The book "lolita" is about a middle aged man in love with a 12 year old girl and is often concidered on of the top 100 books.
2. Censoring is ❚❚❚❚❚ and often ❚❚❚❚❚❚❚
3. The phrase you are after is "All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental."
