I haven't a lot of experience. I saw some videos and read some threads where people talk about q-tip in the pee-hole (both for male and famale). That's sound fun to me but I'm concerned about its safety. Is it safe for you? Should I try?

Its perfectly safe as long as your reading up on it so you know the dos and donts. Eg obviously use sterile equipment and equipment that is safe.

Dont do it further in than youre comfortable with at first. Take it slow and have fun. There is plenty of guidance on google so look before you leap

If you use it dry then no. If you use lube then yes.

As already said, soak the q-tip with lube (I use saliva) so the cotton stays on the tip. But if you have doubts, read more on the topic of sounding and consider buying a couple of sounding rods to be safer.

In my experience, damaging the inside of the urethra is temporary. But make sure the items you insert are thoroughly cleaned and/or sterile. I consider q-tips clean enough if you are careful and don't damage your urethra. If you think you damaged your urethra then urinate.

Be careful with q-tips as the heads can come detached and though they seem so soft to touch have a sharp edge.

Use something like a pencil or chopstick make sure they are clean and lots of lube
