Easier to split it into half before sticking it in.

Cold so it stays firm, but not like ice cold from being in the freezer forever.

Use a finger to lube/loosen first, then the banana should slide right in.

I have done this with a banana that is a little unripe. It depends how loose your asshole is how easy it goes.
