I totally get what you mean! I always make sure to crop everything around me when the background isn't neutral, you never know who might recognize your kitchen or living room.... And it's one of the few times in my life that I'm glad I'm broke af and I do not have tattoos :P other than that, when there is nothing that can identify me... I don't really care who sees them.
