Not naked but definitely embarrassing. I used to travel a lot for work and had the door lock quit working for me.
I stepped out of my room at a motel (rooms open to the parking lot) to go to the vending machine. This was pre-internet days and I had a stack of porn mags on the table next to the door I had been "reading".
I get back to the room and the door won't open. I went to the desk to get another keycard and it didn't work either. The desk called maintenance and they had to break into my room. The maintenance guy saw everything on the table but didn't say anything.
They fixed the lock and all was well. Just a little embarrassed.
