Your album is still empty so I presume you haven't found a solution yet. I hope a mod approached you in private at the very least. If not, here are some things to try.
- Clear both your cookies and browser cache.
- Try to upload a different picture (e.g. download an uploaded picture from someone else's album and try to upload it yourself).
- Try a different internet browser.
- Create a new (second) album.
- Try a different operating system or device (Windows 10, Android, iOS, Linux).
- Log out and log back in.
