In my penthouse, sitting at my workstation
Friends tell me you’re a figment of my imagination
Writing tales of a false life
Your name etched on my heart with a knife
Hell is an eternity without you
A pain that I never knew
The heart on my sleeve is my scar
A reminder of you from afar
Hiding away in the darkness of a shadow
Eying you like a delectable gateau
I know these feelings will continue to stay
So I’ll love you from afar anyway
