The fun is in just giving up control. Yeah, I have stuff that I would rather not have people see, but if they do...so what? A lot of it is the humiliation factor, and part of it is that it doesn't matter. Chances are they'll never meet me in real life anyway.

Most passwords aren't stored in plain-text, so there is very little real risk, plus you ultimately have control. If they start to do something really bad like delete files or something, you can turn off their control.
