Iced Ink / Juice
You could freeze the cherry juice (ink) in cubes or a block. Then you would have to continue until it melts. Also you may not be able to the finish, keeping you there even longer.
You could also mix in something to increase the viscosity (thickness) in the fluid to make it harder to pull through the pipe.
You could have a second vessel with clear water dripping into the ink vessel. You then have keep up with the flow to prevent overflow of the then diluted ink.
