A few variations. 1. Make males wear briefs. Traditionally males stop wearing briefs in their early teens and the sensitivity about being thought to be immature at that age can lead to a very strong association between briefs and humiliation. Also tighter than boxers or boxer briefs so a regular reminder if they are used to boxers. 2. Grit could be held by briefs. 4. A rubber band around either the balls or or ball and penis.
