I've probably said it before in one of your threads, but my opinion is that it depends on location. If it's somewhere relatively safe to do so, go barefoot. If there's significant danger of injury, wear shoes of some sort.

Also, you mentioned you typically left your clothes behind. I agree with that idea. It always bothered me to see people streaking or doing nude dares in videos, and carrying their clothes in their hand. Should be left behind, or have a friend carry them for you. Or, as a last resort, put them in a backpack or shoulder bag, and carry it as if you were clothed. Still leaves everything exposed, but person has the safety of being in control of their own clothes.
