I was thinking of creating a thread with all the mods' names and a little bit of information about them. It would create a nice "vibe", I believe.

Technically, you can already do that by checking your own post history. I believe what you're suggesting may otherwise be a little bit hard to implement.
I particularly like your first idea though.
