Of course. But thinking about it today I realised that I'm also more daring when I'm not alone. It may just be that things seem less scary when you're with a friend, but I also seem to become less shy, less easily embarrassed. (But that only works for dares where the 'riskiness' factor is on top. If it is all about humiliation, having an audience would make it harder...)
