Coming in super late on this one - but for anyone who see's this maybe it'll help.

1. It's really easy to be diapers online - there are now loads of sites. Medical adult diapers are sold from a lot of legitimate medicinal online stores, but if you're really into adult diaper fantasies you probably want to buy an abdl diaper from a specialist store (if you're eu stores like nappiesrus.co.uk are discreet, reliable and have good customer service).

2. If you buy in person it will make your cheeks flush. I had to go in with confidence and pretend it was for a relative since in the UK the only place which stocks diapers in store are pharmacies i.e. boots, superdrug or your local coop. You will almost always (in my experience) be asked by an attendant if you need help.

3. From those i've talked to and my own experience - almost everything diaper related feels shameful when you start getting into it. I think my advice runs counter to what some in the abdl community say (i.e. encourage you to try it)...but if you're having doubts about trying diapers maybe really consider what you're getting into. It isn't like abdl's are accepted in society, there's no 50 shades of grey centred around diapers. Even if you're like me and are just into diapers and not ageplay it's still frowned upon in some kink groups. There's nothing wrong with it, but just think about how it might impact you in the future before you jump into it. Will you be able to afford it, will it take over parts of your life, would you ever be able to tell someone you loved about it, could you start a relationship with someone vanilla knowing you'll eventually have to tell them, would you be okay if others found out etc.
