Nothing horrendous, I once bled through my panties and onto a sofa when I was younger, at the time it was the most mortifying experience on earth especially as it was at a friends house. There mum was very sweet though and didn’t make a fuss and told me it wasn’t an issue. She even helped me with buying tampons for the first time.
