Personally myself i don't really think about whether someone is gonna be turned by it, i make the presumption that since it's an adult story it will be a given anyway. Since you write already i'm sure you know that you should write for yourself first and the reader second. It sound selfish but if you write for the reader, generally they are gonna be disappointed.
