Like I said, theoretical chance. What the chances are? Probably smaller than chances to get hit by a meteorite. Still, there is that tiny chance that your neighbour would register and you'd be the one seeing it. Just the thought of that possibly happening is enough to push some people away from it.
And I am not comparing pictures to real names. I am just saying that there is a reason people like being anonymous in a place like this. Pictures (just like giving out a real name) ruin this anonymity, whether or not you recognise someone or not.
