About 'Send this picture of you doing So-And-So to me' dares
I wonder why they were banned for? Just yesterday, a dare said on the dare threads was 'take pic, send to me' types! Is it to get rid of perverts?

One of the rules: You can't request photos from members.
It's because the site is PG-13 and therefore we don't want minors sending out inappropriate/illegal photos. And even for those over 18, the rule is in place, just so it's fair for everyone. I believe the rules are iffy when it comes to requesting you post photos in an album, but the general thing here is just never to ask for photos. (People try to get around this in PMs, but these can be reported as well as posts :)). |
Intresting, but what's the difference between:
'Post the picture on this thred where X.' (X is the genectic action. You walk, etc) 'Take a picture of you X and send the picture to Y' (X is the action, Y is the e-mail address.) |
There is no difference. Both are against the rules.
Now if the dare was to 'take a picture and post it somewhere, anywhere, and don't let us/me know where' then... yeah. It'd be within the rules. |
Are you allowed to offer pics as proof of dares?
|
Only non nude/identifiable ones i think

It is against the rules to ask for pictures in any way.
You *can* post images on the site but you can't request anything. |
Depp : The mod so nice, he posts it twice.
Edit : Thanks, Depp :P Deleting your post and making me look like a heel. :P |
I'd not spotted this. I too had wondered why some posts (sometimes current and actually STARTED by someone banned!) had users' names marked banned.
What else are members banned for, if anything? Just so I know, so as not to do it unwittingly... I do wonder if some people may simply not have fully appreciated the way the Rules are used. If someone should be banned is it possible for them to redeem later and have the ban lifted later? I've also noticed some members marked 'On Probation'. What does this mean?. Quote:

On Probation, IIRC, is when you can access the forums but you're not allowed to post. If it's not that, it's a complete forum ban but it's a temporary measure. "Banned" means full-time.
Also, there's a Ban List so you can see why people are banned :) |
What about the option in the s/M section where you cab add "Must PM Photo" to the end of your ad? That cant be much different then asking for pictures any other way.

OK, I get it now. You can't post inappopriate pictures or send any to anyone, even for your avatar, excluding pictures of famous people, yes?
