Pleased (and turned on) to read you went through with this. Yes you do need to earn hot showers but there is some training you can do using alternating hot and cold water:

- Start with hot, wash your hair, edge.
- Turn the water as cold and powerful as it will go for 30 seconds
- Back to hot, wash your face, edge
- Cold as above
- Back to hot, shave and wash your body. Switch off the water and get really lathered up. Use something scrubby like a hard bristle body brush to really stimulate your skin all over. Edge
- Rinse off with cold water
