Naked Work Salary
What kind of a salary ($/year) would you want to work these jobs naked?
Try and keep it within reason though please, don't ask for 1 billion dollars otherwise this becomes a little too silly. Secretary Janitor Coach University professor Newscaster Bus Driver Wal-Mart Greeter Grocery Store Clerk Food delivery driver Animal shelter worker Construction worker |
Ok, so I’ve got 2 sets of answers so I’ll leave most without explanations. First set will be for scenarios where the nude role is usual and somewhat common. Then the second set will be if it were in today’s normal society with a few tweaks to make it legal.
Usual/Common (Nude) Role: Secretary - $65,000 Janitor - $70,000 (hate cleaning) Coach - $60,000 (but I think if I’d do a good job at this while nude unless the players were nude as well University professor - $80,000 Newscaster - $65,000 Bus Driver - $50,000 (I’d do it for less if I had enough job. In fact I’d probably volunteer for free) Wal-Mart Greeter - $50,000 Grocery Store Clerk - $50,000 Food delivery driver - $55,000 Animal shelter worker - $90,000 (don’t want no animals eating what might look like a good dinner in their hungry eyes) Construction worker - $65000 Normal Society: Secretary - $100,000 Janitor - $90,000 Coach - - $100,000 University professor - $125,000 Newscaster - $85,000 Bus Driver - $65000 Wal-Mart Greeter - $70,000 Grocery Store Clerk - $75,000 Food delivery driver - $85,000 Animal shelter worker - $120,000 Construction worker - $65000 |

Secretary 55k
Janitor (after hours) 50k (during hours) 60k Coach wouldn't do it University professor 120k Newscaster local 90k. National 300k Bus Driver 80k Wal-Mart Greeter 60k Grocery Store Clerk 55k Food delivery driver 60k Animal shelter worker 45k Construction worker No (ppe is real important) |
I am not interested in any of those jobs and neither am I qualified to do any of them. But if I got offered £100,000 I would seriously consider doing any of them. Although I don't know why anybody would pay me too much money to do a job I can't do with the added disadvantage that they'd have to look at me naked while I do it.

Try and keep it within reason though please, don't ask for 1 billion dollars otherwise this becomes a little too silly. Secretary = $40.000 yr Janitor = $50.000 Coach = $50.000 University professor = $100.000 Newscaster = $100.000 Bus Driver = $ 25.000 Wal-Mart Greeter = $20.000 Grocery Store Clerk = $20.000 Food delivery driver = $20.000 Animal shelter worker = 0 Construction worker = $60.000 |

Janitor - £55,000 Coach - £40,000 University professor - £80,000 Newscaster - £100,000 Bus Driver - £95,000 Wal-Mart Greeter - Nope Grocery Store Clerk - £65,000 Food delivery driver - £95,000 Animal shelter worker - £25,000 Construction worker - £120,000 <3 Kah |
I see no mention of a naked house cleaner, something I have done.

This is a very interesting thread.
Maybe six months of threads is too many to bury this one.

I think I'd need at least a six-figure salary to do any of these. Janitor might be the exception depending on the circumstances, like if it was a night job in a usually empty building, and how extreme the cleaning chemicals would be.
Construction would be the highest, for safety reasons, if I'm doing that naked, it better be enough pay to be worth the risk of injury. |

I'll also assume this is all completely legal, I can't get in actual legal trouble or fired for it, the company consents, etc. Secretary: Depends... if I have my own office/vestibule, and don't have to mingle much, so mostly only my boss and his visitors see me, $80,000. If it was more like a modern executive assistant, doing like, 60% of my boss's job all over the place... $250,000. Janitor: (assuming PPE when legit necessary) Night shift? $90,000. Day shift with lots of people seeing? $180,000. Coach: Like... sports coach? Sheeeeit... $20,000,000 if it's professional or college, and I'm on national TV. $1,500,000 if it's high school and I have to relentlessly defend my authority and dignity to a bunch of horny school boys. University Professor: $75,000. Yes, that's right, lowest one so far. Colleges are accepting places with lots of social experimentation and way more tolerant of abberant behavior. Most of the students would probably think it's cool! Newscaster: Nope. I'm morally opposed to this "profession" in general. No amount of money, no amount of clothing or lack thereof. No thank you. Wellll... okay. $1,825,000,000. I'd do it for one day, take my cool $5M, and never work again. But they're smarter than that and would have contracts and stuff, so... nope. Bus Driver: $70,000. I mean... I know how optics work, and... who cares what their bus driver looks like? If they did, freaking... _nobody_ would ride the bus. XD Wal-Mart Greeter: $80,000. True, customers in Wal-Mart aren't very judged (and Wal-Mart actually has a policy against harrassing customers for any legal mode of dress, so...), but still... standing naked for people from all walks of life in my entire community is asking a lot. Grocery Store Clerk: $75,000. Same issues as the greeter... but I'm behind a counter most of the time. Food Delivery Driver: $50,000. I mean, come on... the comedic value alone, reversing the trope? XD In the car most of the time, only exposed to private residences a few at a time... Animal Shelter Worker: I'll work a Kevin O'Leary deal here... $70,000 plus a $1M cash benefit policy per testicle and $20M for my penis if some animal ends up biting them off and eating them. Most of the $70k isn't actually for the nudity, because who cares? They're animals, and the people dropping them off aren't gonna give a shit. It's because that's an emotionally difficult job... and I seriously doubt they make anywhere near that. Construction Worker: Again, assuming genuinely necessary PPE, which... actually... you know? That probably has a legit OSHA requirement for steel toed boots, so... nope! I ain't wearin' shoes for no amount of cash, bruh. Not anymore. Once upon a time, but never again, and actually not even at my last three jobs before full disability. |
Hard for me to say. And my answers would be for my area of the country as it varies here is the US, never mind the world.
But I would expect to be paid the fair market salary for the job and not have the dress code affect the salary. I know with these jobs it would be at or near minimum wage: Janitor Bus Driver Wal-Mart Greeter Grocery Store Clerk Food delivery driver Animal shelter worker I think the only job listed that I’d not want to be completely naked would be construction worker as I’d expect things such as work boots, safety harness or other safety equipment. Of the jobs you listed, these are the ones I find most interesting Newscaster - this sounds interesting bringing the nightly news to everyone naked! Grocery Store Clerk - the number of people in and out of the store would make this very interesting University professor - teaching naked in a lecture hall would be living a fantasy, except the fantasy was as a student or naked model Wal-Mart Greeter - this makes me think of the shirtless Abercrombie and Fitch guys at the entrance to the stores. While I do get naked in front of others when I can, I have always been self conscious about my body (not that I need to be, just modest) and always said I would never do a job like that. This would be such an easy job too. May only be minimum wage, but easy. And who knows, might get a date once in a while lol. |
