How would you feel about a Harry Potter - themed story?

Hi guys,

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I'd quite like to write a Harry Potter themed story, but wanted to gauge how much interest there would be for one?

If you're interested, and have any ideas about what you would like it to include, message me or post below :)

Some pointers:
What age are the students in the story?
Are the main characters in it, or is it set after they have left?
How much magic is included in it?
Is it third or first person?
Does it focus on girls or guys?

Go for it! I will read it. Definately keep the main characters.

I would prob read a harry potter themed story.

I should take place at Hogwards, with 4-5th year students to make things interesting (so you can involved really sex-thirsty character, spells etc).

First or third person doesn't matter if well written, same as girl or boy focus. I personnaly thing you should include both, boys and girls, to spice thing up.

Yeah you should definitely go for it. I would be interested in reading it

I am a sucker for Harry Potter kinky fanfic. My favorite story is here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/58...pters/13453234

I really love anything with Hermione as a sub. Harry Potter is a rather whiney character as a whole, so I like to avoid him when possible. Draco is also fun as a sub. I would definitely read a McGonnagal story as well.

Best of luck!

What age are the students in the story? 16 to 18 years old.
Are the main characters in it, or is it set after they have left? use the main characters.
How much magic is included in it? lots of magic.
Is it third or first person? third person.
Does it focus on girls or guys? girls mainly.

My opinions - Also DO IT!

Reading a kinky fanfic of the younger students would feel kinda weird, personally. But I would still give it a try. I'd suggest focusing around the older years.

I like the idea of having the main characters in it but also I think you could make a really interesting story with new characters. Some that haven't really matured.

Overusing magic could make it unbelievable. Like There should be limitations so that not everyone can just go around casting a spell that enchants someone or removes there clothes.

I find it that first person is easier to write but third allows you to give more thoughts from all the characters. First kind of makes it mysterious like you don't know what the other characters are going to do.
Maybe try writing the first few paragraphs in both perspectives and see what you think fits best.

You should definitely focus on both boys and girls.

Nice idea. Needs more thought though.

But your questions:
1.Age: ideally all Hogwarts age group plus adult teaching staff and extras.
2. I'd say overlap. So those in top years in last episode have left, but those in bottom years are now seniors.
3. Plenty of magic, and items. You should mug up on these and the spells before you start.
4. Third person best IMO.
5. Guys and girls equally. And a bit of kink in it, e.g. using Sneakoscope so e.g.Slytherin trying to look into Ravenclaw girls' changing rooms and Ravenclaw retaliating with counter-measures.

Oh sure why not I just have to ask who the characters are going to be?

For the seniors: look at the juniors in the last two or three episodes.

For the rest: invent them! Maybe some can be younger siblings of the seniors.
