Weight of Torture

Okay so inspired by SlutPuppy's GetFIT October and IHeartFun's Weight Loss Challenge Thread I am going to make a nice game thread here, Weight of Torture will be the name.

How it Works? Okay so, I will post exercises to do, each exercise will be worth so many points. 10 points max. Others may add exercises for you to do but, there is a catch, to add exercises you must participate.

So let's say someone comes here and adds 10 push-ups, now they are in the game and must play starting from their exercise.

Extra exercises from people besides me are not worth any points on their own. However, if during the week you do everyone who posts exercise from where you started, you gain 10-15 points. (Depends how much there was that week and I will state the numbers.)

You can leave only once you get 100 points or a week is up, whichever is last. You don't only get points from exercise, I will post random little goals for you to accomplish for points once in a while. For example, drink only water today can be one to walk 10,000 steps today. Possibly even something as little as, pick a calorie goal and stay at it today or don't eat at a restaurant for the next hour. Points will be what I feel is fair for the random goal.

To play, state you join and put your points in your signature like 0/100 Weight of Torture points.

I don't know how well this will work but, worth a shot.

Exercising is possible when gaining weight, just up your intake to accommodate for the exercise.

I control the points but, since today is Sunday, I'll state the points at the end of this post.

Nice, I'll say you can break the above up, don't have to do all 100 at once.

For ease Sunday will be the end of the week. You can have 15 points if you do all the above by then.

For 10 points-30 sit-ups.

Good morning, so yesterday after I saw your post I did 10 push-ups and 40 sit-ups in one go. And just now I did 100 jumping jacks taking 30s break at 50. I feel that sit-ups and jacks were pretty easy, but I probably couldn't have done 20 push-ups in one go. And points reset this monday?

Points do not reset, whatever you get stays but, no points for exercises posted above can be earned after Monday. Must be new exercises to earn points when Monday hits.

If you can drink 3 bottles of water everyday this week add 15 points.

10 jumping jacks and 20 sit-ups is worth 15 points.

Mind if I combine this with Plut's thread? No worries if so.

Also, mind if I swap any sit ups for reverse sit ups?

If not; I'm in, and will add 30mins of exercise to the list.

Long as she is okay with it.

I'm in too!! There will be some exercises I may have to modify to make it easier on my back (like sit ups) but as long as that's ok. Let's do this!

kanger 10-08-2018 10:04 AM

I have a question, what if I don't want to get out after 100 points are up because currently, they seem quite easy to achieve. One idea might be to customize the exercises to the person(sadly, this might take too much work). And how about that 30 min one, does the exercise you or someone has given count?

And I did the 20 sit-ups and 10 jacks like it's nothing. I hope I'm doing the correct exercise? Drinking a lot of water might be harder.

EDIT: Adding 30 push-ups to the mix

You can do whatever to that 30 min one. I think that on its own can be 30 points since it is bigger than the rest.

If you don't want out when you reach 100 points you can stay until you please. You don't have to leave. And you can join back anytime if you do leave.

So I wanted to try that 30 minutes one today. It was more challenging than I thought it would be, that exercise timer was really too slow :D. Right, so to start up I did 5 mins running in one spot to get warmed up, then I did 70 sit-ups (the last 10 there pretty uhhh and slow), after that I did 70 squats, then 30 bicycle crunches, then 20 hip lifts, 32 climbers, 50 lunges, 20 sit-ups, 40 jumping jacks, 30 squats(to make 100), 25 sit-ups(basicly can't do any more now). After that I slowly did static full body stretching routine. Honestly, I am taking tommorow off as I will definitely be hurting. This is full exercise time not including the breaks, all of it took almost an hour to complete.
EDIT: Forgot to write that I did 30 push-ups (10 at a time)

LitDarkness 10-11-2018 07:21 AM

I'm going to make an easy one, 5 sit-ups, 2 points.
