Geoguessr Exposure Challenge
 

For this game, you will be playing Geoguessr! If you don’t know how this game works, it is played over 5 rounds. Each round you will be shown a Google Maps Streetview image from somewhere around the world. Your goal is to determine where this image is from and make a “guess” by putting a pinpoint on a world map. The amount of points you get is determined by how close your pinpoint is to the actual location. Sometimes you will get lucky and have iconic monuments, buildings, skylines or man-made structures! Sometimes you will get clues that can help you out such as a distinct language on a billboard. Other times you will just get a dirt road and hope you can find a street sign.

For each round you have 2 minutes (set a timer) to use whatever clues you have available to make your guess. You cannot reverse image search anything, but you can google phone numbers, addresses, shop names, or whatever other information you think you may need.

You are allowed to move the Streetview around 360 degrees and zoom in or out of the picture, but you are only allowed to move the camera 3 spaces in either direction of the start point.

After the 5 rounds are completed you will get your final score. This score will determine how exposed you will be! Upload your photos to temporarily.exposed based off of your score! If playing with another person, or as a result of a lost dare, you will instead turn over your photos to them and they will upload it for you, as well as as a screenshot of your final score as proof!

For an easier mode, you can elect to not show face until the score is a lot worse, or allow yourself the ability to move around the map as much as you want. For an evil mode, keep the stuff the same, but you are no longer allowed to "cheat" and look stuff up on Google. You can only move the three paces and have to guess based off that.

Very fun , but can’t someone make one of these that are very much less exposing to prevent social suicide. Like perhaps no downloads , short time up , with short extensions etc . You can call it wimp version.

It's not terribly difficult to get 10,000 points to avoid face shots and other factors. You are more than welcome to edit the dare to fit your liking! Or if playing with a master or a darer, you can always discuss the terms prior to committing!

Sounds like a fun idea. I think i'll try it but won't show face if i'm that bad... It's a hard limit for me!

Ah nice catch. I'll edit it to include the initial post time. Think I'll just keep it a steady 12 hours across all levels.

And like I said, feel free to edit the dare to your liking. This is how I will perform it, but make it easier or harder, or more suited to your likes and limits!
