getDare Truth or Dare - Dare chicken

This is a game of chicken, best played on a messenger like kik or snapchat.

The forfeits are shamelessly stolen from some of the GD blackmail dice game, but modified to suit a game of chicken (and to remove the blackmail elements). Players can obviously agree to change the forfeits, but you have to do this before starting the game.

Pictures and info from the game stays private between the two players, unless you both agree otherwise. Players may end up pushing their limits in this game, so don't abuse their trust.

Post to this thread to say you are in, then wait for a challenger to message you.

How to play...

The rules are simple. You play one round of Russian Roulette Dice at a time (or just flip a coin for a quicker game), and the loser completes a dare from the lists at the end of this post - you move up through the list each time you lose. Play continues until someone chickens out - this person is the loser.

Detailed rules

Play Russian Roulette to determine the loser of the first round - each player takes turn to rolls a dice ("@roll 6" on kik) until someone gets a 1. (Or just flip a coin for a quicker game.) That person loses the round, and now must pay a forfeit.

For your first loss, you get a forfeit from the first list below ("easy info"). Roll another dice, and complete the forfeit according to the number you get.

Now both players have to agree whether to go for another round. If so, play again. The loser has to complete a forfeit again... but each time you lose a round you go up a level in terms of difficulty.

e.g. if you lose two rounds, then you are now on "easy pictures". Three rounds, and you are on "moderate info", and so on. If one player is very unlucky, they could end up on the difficult forfeits whilst the other player is still larking about with easy ones.

Now the "chicken" element... As the forfeits ramp up in difficulty, you may well decide to throw in the towel rather than risk going any further. After each round (after a forfeit is completed), both players have to decide whether to continue. If either player decides to quit, then they can chicken out - but this must happen *before* starting the next round of Russian Roulette (you can't wait to see if you lose first!).

Chicken out too early, and you won't get to see your opponent complete any good forfeits. But chicken out too late, and you could end up doing some very tricky dares.

The chicken is the loser. The other player is the winner. Or if one player completes all levels, then they are a natural champion and the game can end with honour intact.

Loser's punishment

Obviously there has to be a punishment for the chicken. Shame must follow you around, so you have to put "I am a chicken" in your getdare signature (plus a link to this game if you want to add some context). You keep that in your signature as a badge of shame forever... Or until you challenge someone else to the game and come out as a winner. :D

Feel free to add another punishment if both players agree, but as a bare minimum the loser has to update their signature so the world knows they are a chicken.
