Not receiving new messages?
 

Recently I've noticed that like 70% of the time I receive a message from a new account on kik, I'll get the notification but won't be able to view the new chat and accept it. The app appears as though I have no new messages at all. Occasionally they pop up around an hour or so later but sometimes they stay lost to the void forever. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? (It's not the "Hide new chats" option in settings)

Are we talking about a private message? or a private chat?

Oh goodness I just realized I went the entire post without specifying that I meant new messages on Kik

It is not very usual, looks like something very specific to your device.

Yeah I to have had this issue someone said they messaged me on kik and there was no new chat that I could see.
