What would your ideal exposure site entail?

Another thread has got me thinking about creating a platform for self-exposure and consensual exposure, likely trying to do so through discord. This wouldn't be an attempt to undermine Getdare or Kinktalk, but as a way to have a dedicated space for those who want to participate in exposure to have a platform.

Many sites have failed which, by my assessment, is mostly due to rampant lack of moderation and verification. This too could go up in flames, but I have my own plan in place to give it the old college try.

So my question to those interested in exposure is what features you would want to see? What suggestions would you have for this to succeed? Outside of exposure, what other categories or areas would you want this platform to be capable of?

I think it depends how you're defining exposure. Are you just wanting a site where you can easy post kinky photos of yourself? Cuz fetlife exists and you can put as little or as much information as you want on there to increase or decrease your risk of exposure

Exposure

I always found the sites with automatic settings like a game.
Like once you are exposed you have to stay there.
So it's up to to decide how you want others to see you and how much personal information you share too.

I'm talking about the type of exposure where someone loses control of the photo. It's too easy to post on any number of sites, but you can always delete. I have some of mine hosted on ThisVid, but I retain the control. And some sites exist to upload and remove delete option, but there is no verification that you have consent.

This would be an expirement to essentislly give the photos (either yours or a sub/dare loser) to a trusted source, who will personally verify the consent for the exposed person. Then the post would be allowed And only deleted if it hits a preset time or if the user requests deletion. If that happens though, they would likely be removed entirely from the discord if it's just cold feet.

Partly, but not entirely. In truth, most of these sites had very good moderation teams but were ultimately brought down by legal threats.

In some instances it was the web hosts who pulled the plug. So then the site owners would have to go shopping around for less reputable hosts in the fringes. And several times they got dicked over by cowboys and got exhausted and gave up the fight.

In the case of Absolutely.Exposed it was because of a draconian change of German law which started to aggressively target individuals publishing porn. To the extent that even individuals posting their own nudes on Twitter were being prosecuted. The German owner of AE just couldn't take the risk.

And an overriding theme was bad actors. People posting underage stuff, really extreme images, revenge porn, etc. A constant battle. And then non-consensual posting. Now I know that's something you plan to address with some sort of verification system, but I think you underestimate quite how frequently horny guys consent, cum, panic, and then withdraw consent. If they don't have a mechanism to immediately pull the plug then they start freaking out, reporting, and making legal threats.

Really, the gold standard for consensual verified exposure was Absolutely.Exposed. But that took a lot of work and even then it was scuppered by a society and legislature that doesn't like our kinks.

Exposure

Iam sorry I think I misunderstood what you were saying. Or looking for.
I really don't have a solution to this problem and maybe there isn't any one solution.
But I would be interested in following what happens with this.

Fortunately, I am in a different country (though the US has it's own laws to navigate). Discord does allow NSFW communities, and consent is a big part of it. I think that the verification system will solve most of the issues.

I actually have a mechanism in place for those who decide to withdraw consent. Part of being in the community is playing fairly. That means that if you pull consent, we will remove the photo, but you risk being banned from the community. This would ensure that someone who isn't going to play "fairly" doesn't ruin anyone else's fun, while still providing that out to people that got in over their heads.

Specifically there will be a policy that would give the exposed and exposer a chance to work something out if they do wish to continue playing. Something akin to an agreement to complete a dare or task in exchange for removal. If they come to an agreement, they can remove the photo and the exposed can continue to be apart of the community. If they can't, then we will continue with the removal process for the photo, and remove the exposed from the community.

Well I liked the sites, where you can choose your exposure time, and also if and in which steps that time could be longer.
So a site, where you can allow comments or upvotes, downloads, allow extensions and choose that time and so on..
