Not A Truth Or Dare Story
 

This is not a truth or dare story but it is about truth or dare stories.

I have a question for everyone who reads this thread. Why are most of the stories in the truth or dare stories section not about truth or dare games but about slave stories?

because you run out of thigs to say and origional ideas for tord games. if everyone did it, this site would be crap. as it is, it is quite the opposite.

It is difficult to write about T or D games because you have to work out where your point of view is - is it one person involved in a game describing what others are doing as well as what is happening to them ... or is it from a 'big brother' viewpoint describing what is happening to others but not to the watcher?

Also it can become repetitive.

Perhaps better to view the story thread as just that rather than as a T or D Story thread?

PS Wouldn't this be better in the Authors Lounge?

Although getDare is a Truth or Dare community we also cover other related areas that most people here are interested in.

It fluctuates actually.

Initially, people wrote about Truth or Dare games but once I came back from my month-long break I found slave/master stories had become the most popular. I think authors see a popular idea and they take hold of it and make it their own. Check out my stories though, they're a little bit different!
