Decorate my girly room!

I received a rule from Ponies that I have to "decorate my room in a very childish girly style, including plenty of plushies, nightlights, cute bedding, etc." for the rest of the year.

I am asking for your help to pick out some girly and childish items to fill my room with! Some info & criteria:
  • I live alone in a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment (one bedroom serves as my office)
  • I have a king bed and a side table right now. There isn't much room left except for a dresser, so stuff will be able to go on top of that.
  • I have a walk in closet that is about 4 feet wide by 5 feet deep.
  • I have a master bathroom with a toilet, two sinks, and a shower. There is another bathroom in the apartment as well.
  • I need to be able to hide things somewhat when friends/family come to visit on occasion. Normally my bedroom door would be closed, but if they want a tour, I should be able to show them my room.

I probably won't be able to get everything or all at once, but I'll do what I can. Feel free to link to specific items online. (I'm in the US)

Do you have a specific set in mind?

I think a nice new sheet set like this would be perfect for you! https://www.amazon.com/TREELY-Sheets...dDbGljaz10cnVl

How about something simple like replacing your toothbrush with a pink one?

Also some peach window curtains. Not overly girly, but still good enough.

Unfortunately, I have a sonicare toothbrush and they don't have a any colorful replacement heads. I don't want to switch to a manual toothbrush since those aren't as effective.

Curtains are a nice idea. My room has blinds provided by the apartment, but a lot of light still leaks through, so blackout curtains would be good. I might even be able to do pink for those.

Please keep the ideas coming! Items that would be a little embarrassing for an adult to have are great options here.

why not buy yourself a pink potty

Okay, so I have several ideas.

I recommend getting a baby toothbrush (one with a suction bottom), your excuse can be that the dentist recommended it :) It's useful for getting into tight spots in your mouth.

I also recommend keeping two stuffed animals on your bed at all times. I recommend squishmallows, they are really popular right now. I recommend at least one common animal type one, and one strange one (like an axolotl!). One of them needs to be bright, but the other one is your full choice of color.

Here's a few more good things to decrease the age-look of your room:
Tutus, skirts on hangers, fairy lights (holiday lights work too if they are small), depending on how young, diapers might be reasonable to keep on a shelf (cover it with a blanket if people are over), baby wipes in the bathroom and one of those cup-bucket things that parents use to wash shampoo out of children's hair without getting shampoo in their eyes, sticker books and put some of the stickers on the surfaces around, a hanging see through curtain thing over your bed

I wouldn't do all of them, just choose the ones you're interested in :)

Wow, these ideas are fantastic, thank you!

Too much light? some curtains might help! But make sure you get the perfect rod!

And to dress your bed up, a giant teddy makes the perfect cuddle buddy

These pillows sure look cozy and pretty

A throw on your bed really shows off how cute your bedroom is.

Are you a toddler? some cute blocks are sure to be fun! Or mabye something more traditional?

A cute lamp Maybe this one?

Feeling childish? These Decals are sure to make you happy!

This is a cozy spot to flop! Or maybe a chair to read?

And if you are still scared at night. A Mobile and Night Light will sure to make you safe!

This might be one of the cutest (and useful) things I have seen!

Or if you need(1) extra(2) space(3)?
