I got a new computer and would love the people of Getdare to control every aspect of it except on the outside.

The goal is normal black laptop on the outside, and anything legal goes on the inside.

Any suggestions for

Backgrounds
Color schemes
anything humiliating or degrading

What operating system? Windows, Mac, some variation of Linux?

It's windows, dell somthingrather with a touch screen

Install http://www.classicshell.net/. This will allow us to designate even a custom windows icon for the taskbar, and dictate themes for your start menu.

2) Your favourite video game. (Provide the video game, if you roll this.)
3) Degradation. (Write at least 200 words explaining and discussing previous experiences you have had with degradation and what was the most degrading, humiliating, etc.)

As you can see, it's incredibly likely that it will be #3, but you have a chance of more mainstream things.

Referencing for more of the customisation...

There are themes available in your Windows settings. This allows for even custom mouse cursors, and there are mouse cursor packs available for download online. Be cautious about how you download these, as most of these sites have ads that present like fake "download" buttons. Hover and view where the link goes to before clicking.

There are many tools that can be installed through the Windows Store, which has other options for customising your computer - I've seen many folks who install an app that adds sticky notes, and there's almost no limit of possibilities if you review the app store. When you have your theme, research on the Windows Store (it's an app on your computer by default) and report back on what options are available that could customise your theme or functionality of the computer in a way that is relevant to this thread. In some cases, this might be really generic but customisable apps, and some might be highly specific to your theme (ex. Emlalock as an app, if that exists, etc).

Yeah, I know a lot about customising Windows since I heavily customised mine before finally switching to Arch Linux which has been amazing.

I recommend the first or third cursor. Use the cursor to set up your colour theme (task bar, window bar, etc theme colors)

Go with colour matching the theme to the cursor. Research on the Windows store for apps like that, let us know what is available. Google might be able to pull some up too. I don't know if you have any remote control or bluetooth toys - if so, there's an app called Intiface Central that can be installed to control them with.

hmm I cant seem to find any apps other than dating apps. Im not really sure what a BDSM app would really entail anyway but its part of GivingWantingDares note he left on my computer.

Please look into free parental control software - additionally, what web browser did you install? Firefox or Chrome?

I installed one today (free one), search for Kirupira :)

Here are my instructions for setting up Firefox:

Install and only use this search engine.

Install this privacy tool.

Set this as your theme.

Install this password manager. This lets you generate passwords and save them for random websites you could end up using.

Install this tool. Others or I could provide short scripts to add to the tool to run, such as a short script to replace common NSFW words with the word "sneakers". I may write one for you simply because of the hilariousness.

Research and find an extension on the Firefox Addons that allows you to track how much time you spend on each website. There are several, but it need to show the time at least in hours and minutes for each website.
