Site Issues (possibly resolved)
 

A few people contacted me via various means to let me know that getDare was fucked. Thank you! My depp.davenport email usually forwards directly to my primary account and I was able to get wind of the issue.

Is it really fixed
I'm not sure. It looks like a CDN bug. I'll keep checking back to make sure it's not going to happen again.

Why did fixing this shit take so long?
I'm in the process of moving across the country (again) and just got internet for the first time in a month a few hours ago.

Same here. It seems to be how some people had the problem and some didn't is still going around. (Don't know how to phrase.)

Works on Mozilla, Chrome (PC and android) IE.
Guess GD doesn't like you two...

Maybe a issue with iOS/opera?

clear your cache and history so your browser is forced to download the latest non-expired files from the CDN :)

While I wasnt hit by the bug while everybody else had problems I do have them now. Everything is white and CSS doesnt seem to work

mine is now mostly fixed except drop menus, profiles are all now on one page instead of tabbed, and quick reply button doesn't work

Thanks Depp for all the help and support that you always do. Don't worry about taking time off to do your personal business as that is more important than the internet.

As for the fix, mine is still broken even after clearing cache and browsers.

From what I see and looked through in the errors, I see a coding issue. I don't know how that all works, but I'm sure those of you who do can find it out faster than I can.

Still, thanks for all the help and hopefully things go back to the way they were for everyone.

It was working for me again but now it's not and I'm just getting the white background again. I've tried clearly my cache and history again but that's not made any difference.

I'm actively looking into a solution and think I might know what it is. Sorry guys.

For the moment it is working for me. I shall see how it goes and keep this updated.

I think I've identified and resolved the underlying misconfiguration. Again, some of you may need to dump your browser cache. I'll keep checking back!

Cleared cookies and cache, still isn't working for me.

Looking bad for me, on two different browsers, Chrome logged in, Firefox that I never came to the site on.

Well, it went back to where it was again. I don't know what the issue is Depp, but maybe you can enlighten us as to what the problem is and maybe we can fix our own end if that's part of the problem.

I cleared my cache and history and I am still having issues. Using Firefox.

I've not seen any new issues since last night. I'll continue to monitor however.

Because of how things got fucked up some of you may still be stuck with bad versions of the site until you clear your cache.

For anyone still having issues I would advise you follow these steps: http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/

I wasn't having this no color issue until today when I got home. Had color and everything just fine before.

Hey Depp, I don't think clearing the cache is the fix because I've done it several times even following the step by step guide (though I knew how to do it anyways) and it's still not fixed. I don't know if the site itself needs a refresh on it's code to wipe away the errors that were there or what, but I don't know what else is going to help unless we are simply waiting for the code to catch up to the fix.

Edit: So far now it has come back like in the past. Hopefully the last of the code does as well and stays that way.

:( This was fixed the toher day for me and all was well... once again though I am in the abbys of the white screen of navigational death! :((

Look I know posting here isn't going to resolve my problem. And in the first string when everyone was complaining, the only problems I were having were the mini-icons next to posts, except for male and female icons, were gone and some avatars weren't showing up everything else was fine. But shortly after the site was temporarily fixed, that's when I got some people are calling the "white abyss." It's very odd because I clicked on a blog, still the same format, and when I clicked back everything looke normal and then when I clicked on the same blog, back to whatever "this" is. I have cleared my cache history and it didn't help. I can still navigate but yeah just letting some people know that you're not the only one having problems. Also by the way my browser is Internet Explorer.

The issue is back again, cdn not serving the css. Happy to have a look with you
