Chat Games Information
 

In order to promote some more activity in the chat rooms, and hopefully help new members interact with the chat veterans, I would like to schedule some chat games.

Since Lola.fox was so kind to create a new section in the forums for live events, I have created a seperate thread for each of my events in that section. Please visit those threads for up to date times and dates.

However, I am going to keep this thread open in case anybody has any suggestions for new events, comments on how to make the events run better, or even comments on what time works best for you. I would love to hear your feedback.

These are some excellent ideas Butterfly. I may join for some Truth or Dare next week.

That is a great idea! I guess I just wanted to start with some easier activities to see if people will even show up. Don't want to put the effort into planning if people aren't going to appreciate it. But my mind is already working on some devious challenge ideas.

That's a great idea! Sadly, all these are scheduled when I'm supposed to be asleep or working but oh well :P

Hopefully these ones are successful and I can schedule some at more convenient times for more people.

I will be in there at 7 pm MST. I believe that is 9 pm EST. (see below for a link on how to check your own timezones).

We are going to be getting to know each other and answering some fun truth questions/telling stories.

Here is how tonight is going to go and a few rules:

I will ask a question using the topic button. This will clear chat of anything being said (feel free to look back in the history if you missed anything).

Everybody is welcome to share their answer and/or discuss other peoples answers. The purpose is to make conversation.

Once we have all finished answering/talking, I will ask a new question.

If you have an idea for a question, please send me a whisper.

Do not request a private chat with anybody you do not know.

Unfortunately it was the middle of the night for me, time zones are a pain lol but I read the chat history and it looked like it was fun!

The one on Sunday is a better time for me, but very sadly I think I will be out then :(

It went well. I had a lot of fun and we got to meet some new people which was awesome. There was about 20 people in the truth or dare room.

This is a surpurb idea! I hope I can be apart of some of the upcoming events! Please keep these going. It is a great opportunity to bring gd together!

As long as people are interested and appreciate the effort it takes to put into it, I am happy to continue to run them!

I really like the idea of chat games, will certainly be showing up to one this week and never have I ever is a great idea.

This sounds like a great idea. Hopefully there is enough interest to carry it into the summer so I can participate after all my work is done.

Puppy was unfortunately using public transport at that time, but could give some input. Puppy would do it again and is excited for sunday

I unfortunately will not be able to join on Sunday. Wife is coming home earlier than expected for a short bit and it's during the time that this will be going on. I'm quite unhappy.

should you really be saying your unhappy you're wife's coming home...:p

I can say what I want. It's costing us money for her to come home early.

I'll try to join the Truth or Dare game tomorrow.

Truth or Dare will be happening in about 4 hours!!!

How it will work:

I will start by asking "Who is in?"

Anybody who wants to play will say "Me"

I will then choose one of those people and ask "Truth or Dare"

If the person I chose picks truth, I will ask them a question that they must answer in chat.

If the person I chose picks dare, I will take a quick look at their limits and will assign a dare to them. Negotiations may happen in private. Dares should be something that can be done pretty easily while in chat and during the duration of the game.

Once you have received a dare, you cannot answer that you are in until you have completed your dare and given a short report in chat.

Once I have given out my dare, I will "tag" somebody else to be the asker.

Rules

*Please try to pick people who haven't had a chance to get a turn.
*Do not private chat with people who you are not negotiating with.
*Anybody who doesn't follow through with a dare or truth (that does not cross limits) will be kicked out of the game.
*Keep dares short and doable so that the game does not get stalled.
*Respect peoples limits.
