Christoper eccleston 9th was my first but as soon as he regenerated to tennant I absolutly loved it and he will always be my favorite because everything about him is just the doctor I can't see anyone else being him which is why I stopped watching since matt smith became the doctor :'( sorry matt but david will always be the true doctor

I'm not here to 'hate' on you or anything, but I genuinely don't understand this view point. You're not a Doctor Who fan, in my opinion - you're a David Tennant fan. David's the 10th actor to take on this iconic character role, so it was never just his and there's no "true Doctor".

Tennant's back for the 50th - will you be watching that episode, even though it has Smith in it?

Which classic episodes have you seen? :)

I'm so glad to see the Eccleston love here - he's often forgotten / underrated.

Interestingly he is now wearing Patrick Troughtons bow tie.

Yes Sir YOU my friend ARE A FAN, You are spot on. That is not given enough credit. As is stated in the inlay card for the DVD - you can see the beginnings of a different style way back in the McGann movie!

McGann (or as I call him, One Night Stand) is a great Doctor and deserves to be in the 50th anniversary special (arguably even more so than Tennant). I don't ever want to see the 8-9 regeneration (it's nice having it shrouded in mystery) but it'd be fantastic to have such an underrated Doctor back for another brief stint on TV.

Femalesaskmetodareu 04-08-2013 10:33 AM

McGann is may favourite Doc, the story wasn't the best, but he had something. (Of course he IS the most prolific Doctor in the audios at least.

I think that Moffat will miss the boat if he doesnt have McGann, maybe a flash back of Ecclescake, Tennant in already of course....

I wonder - is it right the Zygons are shapeshifters? If so i believe we will see the 11 Docs that way!
